MAP quality system management

MAP has been ISO 9001 certified since 1997 and IATF 16949 since 2004.

MAP has on board a quality system management according to what is laid down by ISO-TS 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.

MAP has a fully-equipped metallographic laboratory for raw material control before and after heat treatment and an equally equipped testing lab for measuring all the roller dimensions.

MAP has more than 20 control instruments, including:

  • durometers and micro durometers (Wolpert, Galileo, Future Tech)
  • profile projectors and a metallurgical analysis microscope (Nikon)
  • profilometers (Taylor Hobson, Mahr)
  • roundness gauges (Taylor Hobson, Mahr)

For non-destructive final controls we also have surface control instruments for Magnetic Particles Inspection (MPI) and for Eddy Current Control with personnel qualified according to EN 473 norm.
