WHY THIS INFORMATION

Pursuant to EU Regulation 201/679 (hereinafter, referred to as “GDPR”), this page describes how personal data are processed through the website www.mapeuropesrl.com (hereinafter, referred to as “Site”).  This information is provided pursuant to GDPR Article 13 by MAP EUROPE SRL, in its capacity as data controller. The information does not apply to other third-party websites that may be consulted through links on this website, for which no responsibility is accepted.

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this Site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by the users, the URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

Data communicated voluntarily

The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of messages to the contact addresses indicated on this Site and/or the filling in of the form in the “contact us” section entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s e-mail address, which is necessary in order to reply to the contact request, as well as personal data relating to the surname and first name.

The data controller is “MAP EUROPE SRL”, with registered office in Uboldo, Via Padre Pio, in the person of its pro-tempore Legal Representative, who may be contacted for any information by e-mail privacy@map-eu.it.

The provision of personal data is obligatory, as it is indispensable in order to fulfil legal obligations.

Personal data will be communicated, also on the basis of the purposes envisaged in specific areas, to subjects who will process the data as autonomous Data Controllers, or Data Processors (GDPR Article 28) and processed by natural persons (GDPR Article 29) acting under the authority of the Data Controller and Data Processors on the basis of specific instructions regarding the purposes and methods of processing, for purposes specific to the area of reference. The data will be communicated to recipients belonging to the following categories:

  • Parties based in Italy providing services for the Site’s communication networks, including e-mail, hosting and website management;
  • Competent authorities for the fulfilment of legal obligations and/or provisions of public bodies, upon request

  • 4. WILL THE DATA BE TRANSFERRED TO NON-EEA COUNTRIES?
    Personal data will not be transferred to countries outside the EEA.
  • 5. IS THERE AN AUTOMATED PROCESS?
    Personal data will be subject to traditional manual, electronic, and automated processing. Please note that no fully automated decision-making processes are carried out.
  • 6. WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS? HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE THEM?
    You may assert your rights as expressed in GDPR Articles 15 et seq., by contacting the Data Controller at the e-mail address privacy@map-eu.it, or at the addresses listed above. You have the right, at any time, to request access to your personal data (Article 15), as well as their rectification (Article 16), deletion (Article 17), and processing restriction (art.18). The data controller shall inform (Article 19) each of the recipients to whom the personal data have been transmitted of any rectification or erasure or restriction of processing carried out. The data controller shall inform the data subject about these recipients if the data subject so requests. In the cases provided for, you have the right to the portability of your data (Article 20), in which case they will be provided to you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
